Terms of service

Scope and pricing

Every engagement begins with a written scope and a fixed price agreed before work starts. Prices shown on this website are starting prices; the figure in your written scope is the one that applies.

If the data turns out to require substantially more work than the scope assumed, we will notify you in writing and agree any change before continuing. We do not bill additional amounts without agreement.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide timely access to the data sources and people needed for the work, and confirm you have the right to share the data you provide. Delays in access may move delivery dates.

Payment

Project work is invoiced 50% at the start and 50% on delivery unless agreed otherwise. Monthly reporting is invoiced monthly in advance with a three-month minimum term and 30 days' notice to end.

Ownership

On full payment, you own the deliverables produced for you: dashboards, reports, documentation and queries. We retain ownership of our general methods, templates and know-how.

Confidentiality

We keep your data and business information confidential and do not use it in marketing or examples. We will not name you as a client without your written permission.

Limits

Analysis and forecasting are decision support, not guarantees of outcome. Predictive models are supplied with documented accuracy and failure modes, and business decisions taken on the basis of any deliverable remain yours. Our liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.
