Find out which jobs actually make you money
You are busier than last year and the bank account does not show it. That gap is almost always hiding in job costing or lead spend.
The problem you already know about
Revenue is up. Cash is flat. Somewhere between the estimate, the truck and the invoice, money is leaking, and nobody in the office has time to work out where.
Meanwhile you are paying Angi, Google Ads and maybe a lead service every month. You can see the calls coming in. You cannot see which of those calls turned into a job that was worth doing.
None of that needs new software. It needs the numbers you already have, pulled together and counted the same way twice.
What Mobile Bay Data builds for contractors
Job profitability by type
Service calls, installs, maintenance plans, emergency work — real margin on each after labor, materials and drive time.
Lead source ROI
What each source costs, how many turn into booked jobs, and the profit per dollar spent. Some sources quietly lose money every month.
Crew utilization
Billable hours against paid hours, by crew and by week. This is where an extra truck is justified, or is not.
Estimate versus actual
Which jobs run over and by how much, so you can price the next one properly instead of guessing.
Seasonal demand
On the Eastern Shore the summer AC rush and the post-storm roofing spike are both predictable enough to staff for. We look at three years of your own job history and tell you what a normal July looks like, so hiring and parts ordering stop being a guess.

What it costs
Start with the $650 Data Health Check — five days, written findings, no commitment after. If a dashboard makes sense, a dashboard build starts at $1,800. If you would rather someone just send you the numbers, monthly reporting starts at $500.
I am based in Daphne, so we can meet at your shop anywhere in Baldwin County or Mobile.
Questions contractors ask
I use Jobber. Can you work with that?
Yes. Jobber, ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro all export the data we need, and we pull invoices and costs from QuickBooks alongside it.
Do I have to change how my crews log jobs?
Usually only one small thing, like tagging change orders. We tell you the minimum change that makes the numbers trustworthy and leave the rest alone.
How long before I know which lead sources work?
About two weeks. The hard part is matching spend to booked and completed jobs; once that is wired up it updates on its own.
What does this cost for a small crew?
Most two-to-ten-truck operations start with the $650 Data Health Check, then a dashboard build from $1,800 if it is worth it.
